About Jemma
I am a qualified teacher with over 15 years of experience working in education across KS2, KS3 and GCSE levels (KS2 specialist).
Throughout my career, I have supported a wide range of learners, from those needing additional help to build confidence, to those working towards key exams.
I am particularly experienced in working with students whose first language is not English and I take pride in helping all of my students rebuild confidence and make steady, meaningful progress. My approach is patient, structured and supportive, with a strong focus on making learning clear and accessible.
Over the years, I have developed a strong understanding of how to break down complex ideas into simple, manageable steps, helping students not only improve their results but also feel more confident in their own ability to learn.
I believe that every student can make progress with the right support, encouragement and teaching approach, and I aim to create a positive and reassuring learning environment in every session.
