Methodology
I believe that all students can learn given the right tools and structure. When working with students, I like to take time to understand their individual needs first and then create an instructional plan that is challenging and rigorous, meeting them where they are. I teach through multiple modalities, addressing all learning styles.
Background
I am an experienced teacher and school administrator with 13 years in education. I have primarily worked in the elementary setting, but I have also worked with students with special needs at all grade levels. I have a BA in Government, Multiple Subjects certification, CLAD certificate, and I'll have my MA in Educational Administration in April 2019. I have experience working with students that are high achieving and students who have significant academic and behavioral challenges, and I am able to create individualized learning plans that meet their needs.
