Hi! I’m Kavya, a B.Tech computer science and engineering student with a deep passion for breaking down complex concepts into simple, logical, and practical steps.
I have always believed that learning math and programming shouldn't feel like a chore. My goal as a tutor is to bridge the gap between theoretical textbook formulas and actual, hands-on understanding. Because I am a student myself, I know exactly what it feels like to sit in a confusing lecture or get stuck on a frustrating bug. My Approach & Teaching Methods
I focus on building strong logical foundations rather than rote learning. Whether teaching mathematics or coding, I break down complex concepts into small, digestible pieces using visual examples, analogies, and real-world data. My method is highly interactive and hands-on—instead of just watching me solve a problem or write code, you will actively work through examples during the session to build immediate confidence.
Structure of a Typical Class
Each 60-minute session follows a clear, goal-oriented structure:
First 10 Minutes (Review): We start with a quick recap of the previous lesson and resolve any doubts from assignments or school/college lectures.
Next 25 Minutes (Concept & Application): I introduce the day’s core topic using clear visual explanations, formulas, or live code blocks, followed by step-by-step practical demonstrations.
Next 20 Minutes (Guided Practice): You take the wheel. You will solve a math problem or write a script while I guide you, helping you fix errors and improve your logic in real time.
Final 5 Minutes (Wrap-up): We summarize the key takeaways and set a small, practical assignment to reinforce what you learned.
