About My Lessons – Abraham
As a soccer coach and active high school athlete, my teaching approach is built around building confidence, improving core skills, and making every session fun and focused. I believe young players learn best when they’re enjoying the game, so I use drills, challenges, and small-sided games that keep players engaged while helping them grow.

A typical lesson with me includes:

Warm-up & footwork drills to boost control and speed

Skill development focused on dribbling, passing, and shooting

Tactical awareness training like positioning and game IQ

Mini-games or scrimmages to apply what we’ve worked on

What sets me apart is that I’m close in age to many of my students, so I connect easily with them and make learning feel natural. I also bring experience from both coaching at the YMCA and playing at a competitive level, so I understand how to teach younger players in a way that’s clear, motivating, and fun.

My lessons are great for:

Beginners to intermediate players ages 6–14

Players who want to build their technical skills or improve confidence during games

Anyone preparing for a team tryout or just looking to stay active and sharp over the summer

Whether your child is totally new to soccer or already plays on a team, I tailor every session to their skill level and goals.
