I have 18+mths TEFL experience teaching young learners and adults using CEFR levels A1 - C2, either as individual students or in groups, with lessons adapted to specific learner needs and requirements. I have a background in Business English, Tourism, Digital and Information Technology, and gained a wealth of experience in varied professional careers for over 30 years, fifteen of those in an educator capacity.

My approach to teaching is wholly student centric. I believe it is key to ensure that lessons are developed with the learner's input, fundamentally to address their specific needs. Then, using carefully selected source material, exercises and activities, we can effectively supercharge areas identified as needing improvement, as well as building upon existing strengths.

Details
Travel expenses
- A flat rate of £0.45 per mile is applied for lessons delivered at a students house/place of work. I am based in the South Devon area of the UK.
Cancellations
- No fee is chargeable should the lesson be cancelled either by the tutor, or the student cancels up to 48hrs in advance of the start time.
- A fee of 50% of the intended lesson duration is applicable in the event of the student cancelling within 24hrs-48hrs of the lesson slot.
- A fee of 100% of the intended lesson duration is applicable in the event of the student cancelling within 24hrs of the lesson slot.
