About Tyler
I have been involved with playing and teaching instruments for 20 years. I started playing the upright bass in my middle school string ensemble, and continued on to play in the jazz ensemble and marching band. I attended Eastern Kentucky University, where I was the principal double bassist for the EKU Symphony Orchestra and the EKU Bluegrass Ensemble. I have taught group classes of elementary school children as well as larger ensembles in high school.

Get ready to learn an instrument in the smoothest way possible. We go over fun songs appropriate for beginners that you can play on day one of the lesson. I also make sure to emphasize technique so we can avoid injury and stress. Learn from a teacher with years of playing, teaching, touring, and recording experience. Whether it's your first day playing, or you've lost count of the days, I can make sure to lead you to your goals with methods that are right for you.
