About Annie
My name is Annie! I am an accomplished Cellist and Bass Guitarist studying at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance with over a decade of experience in Jazz Bands, Choirs, Orchestras, and Concert Bands. Notably, I led the cello section with the Chiltern Music Academy Symphony Orchestra at the Music for Youth Proms 2024 at the Royal Albert Hall and have played the bass guitar with the CMA Concert Band at the National Concert Band Festival, where we attained a platinum award. I have played in chamber music settings for over a decade and have played in string quartets, trios and piano trios. I have played in one orchestral and two rock pit bands, alongside performing in multiple productions on stage, allowing me to apply my classical training in a foreign environment. I am extremely passionate about teaching and tutor in primary English and Maths with an Enhanced DBS check, as well as, qualifications in 'an introduction to SEND in the classroom' and, 'Intermediate Safeguarding in education for Tutors'.

I offer personalised cello, bass guitar, and music theory lessons for all ages and abilities, from complete beginners to advanced students. My teaching combines classical training with elements of the Suzuki method, focusing on ear training, musicality, and strong technical foundations. I cover a range of styles from classical to jazz and contemporary, tailoring lessons to each student’s goals and interests. Lessons typically last 30, 45, or 60 minutes and can be in person or online. I'm currently studying at Trinity Laban Conservatoire and have over a decade of performance experience in orchestras, bands, and chamber ensembles, which I bring into my teaching to create engaging, supportive, and well-rounded lessons.
