About MATHEW
Teaching music has been Mat's passion since 2006. He has been performing guitar, bass, and drums with rock bands for 18 years. He studied music and guitar performance through years of private lessons, and has a Music Theory Professional Certificate from Berklee College of Music. Mat teaches everything from pop and country to classic rock and heavy metal. He provides a positive and encouraging environment to help his students achieve their goals, and enjoy playing music.
The most enjoyable part of being a guitar instructor is seeing my students having fun playing their favorite songs! I've watched many students go from having never played to being ready to perform music on stage within a few years time.
