About Reese
I have a Masters in Performance and Pedagogy with an emphasis in acting from Texas Tech University. My acting lessons are tailored to the individual. I help my students to discover and utilize their individual strengths as an actor, which, in turn, allows them to market themselves more successfully. We focus on type and learning how to approach performing from a genuine place.
I acted as a Teaching Assistant for the Beginning Acting class while in undergrad.
I taught multiple beginning acting and theater appreciation courses in graduate school.
I have a BA in theater and an MFA in Performance and Pedagogy with an emphasis in acting. I have studied acting for nearly 15 years. I have performed in over 30 plays and directed several in my life. I have taught multiple acting classes at the collegiate level.

First, I assess where the student is at by having them prepare and perform audition material. From there, we work to improve the students audition technique, script analysis, and character development.
I have worked with students ranging from 8-30 years old.
Make sure they have quality training and credentials. Also, make sure they take their time with you seriously. You paid for that time and they need to be putting their best foot forward at all times so that you get your money’s worth.
My family gets together every year on Christmas Eve at the local hospital. We spend the evening passing our Christmas angels to the families stuck in the hospital over the Christmas holidays. It is always an eye opening and heart warming experience.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Am I serious about wanting to be an actor? Am I willing to do what it takes to make it and survive in this business? Am I willing to learn or am I just looking for someone to give me praise?
