About John
I have acted in theatrical performances since grade school. I have carried a number of roles and have often been tabbed for my ability to do accents. I teach blocking, diction, and how to act when speaking and when not speaking.
I have done grade school, high school, 4-H, college, and community theater. I have also directed in college and community theater.

I like to interview the student, what the students goals are, what they have done, what they hope to do. Then do a read through of a script. After a brief read through have the student express what the student feels the character feels and experiences. Usually then a discussion that acting is about emotions inherent in the character and character development. If the student has recordings of roles, watch and discuss improvements that can be made.
