About Kirill

I have experience teaching people in a wide variety of ways, online, in person, classes, privately, hybrid learning, etc..

I love helping people grow. Nothing bring me more joy than helping others. It shows in the work I choose to do, my volunterring in animal rescue for the last four years, and in as many parts of my life as possible.

I began teaching right after high school. To afford my undergraduate education I became a personal trainer. Because of the gym's location and customer base I had to quickly learn how to comunicate and break down ideas for enthusiastic yet beginner clients. I continued to train clients for almost 18 years.

During this time I returned to school to study acting. Because of my training background and experience I quickly learned how to break down and explain the ideas we were being taught.

This continued into graduate school where we were assigned to teach/create our own undergraduate classes. During this time I had the fortune of teaching a wide variety of students with different goals and backgrounds.

I have my MFA in acting from Michigan State University. I have been teaching acting at a variety of levels (from age 5 - undergraduate level) since 2012. I currently teach Acting for the Camera at a professional theatre for youth.

About the lesson

I begin by getting to know the student and their goals. Each student has a unique background, so I find it important to understand their taste in art and performance. From there we begin by learning the basics and background of modern acting.

I have worked with children as young as five years old, all the way to students that are about to graduate college.

Chat with several possible teachers, learn about them and their personalities. You will be working with this teacher for a while and you want to make sure they are the right mentor for you.
