About Tia
I am a jazz vocalist and saxophonist having played and toured with many famous musicians. My first performance was at fifteen singing with Buddy DiFranco and I studied under Ted Shumate with Longineau Parsons, Larry Willis, John Toney, Kevin Smith, Taurus Lovely and many other.
I am a director, educator and actress. I have a bachelors in Theatre (Honors) specializing in acting and directing and a bachelors in Psychology from the University of South Florida
Masters in Theatre from DePaul university and I currently teach acting at Roosevelt University, here in Chicago.
Teaching has always been my passion and helping others reach their potential while achieving their goals.
Bachelors in Psychology and Theatre from USF
Touring and playing with professional for over 15 years while studying music.
Masters in theatre from DePaul.
