He has worked with actors in every age group, and he is very intuitive and has extraordinary communication skills. Having worked with Bailey both as an actor and a technical director, I can easily state that he is my favorite director in over forty years in theatre to work with.

His ability to help me connect each character to something real, to help me see them in my day to day experiences and to draw on that to create a fully actualized person onstage, instead of a character.

While working with Bailey, I was never told exactly what to do. He gave me the guidance I needed to make my own choices and create my own vision for a character. I have not worked directly with Bailey as an acting coach. He has coached my daughters and also as the drama coach at my childrens' high school where I am a parent volunteer. Bailey sees what is unique about a person and brings that to the forefront. He does not have a single acting package that he regurgitates. He creates actors that act from the inside out, showing true emotion without using damaging techniques.
