About Christine

I have been teaching and coaching actors for more than 25 years. My students work professionally on film, TV, and stage. Several of my students booked their first professional job as a result of my coaching. Others have achieved their next level of desired success as a professional actor during our work together. I have decades of professional experience in film, TV, and stage as an SAG/AFTRA/AEA actor. I also provide a very unique and insightful perspective that I have gained from working as a talent agent; talent manager; and in casting for film and televison.

I coach all levels of experience; whether you are:

- a beginning actor exploring the craft of acting for the first time, and establishing basic technique and comfort;

- an intermediate actor who wants to advance their skills and ability to establish or increase their professional acting credits;

- an advanced actor with professional acting credits seeking to boost their bookings; crush their auditions, call-backs, or self-tapes, or, simply in need of reinvigoration of your craft.

My training as an actor includes an MFA in Acting from University of CA, Irvine, Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London, LAMDA in London, Judith Weston Master Class for Actors and Directors, David Dean Bottrell Advanced Acting, James Wilson Acting for Film and Television, Charles Carroll, L.A. Film Actors Ensemble, South Coast Repertory Conservatory, and, countless workshops.

I specialize in facillitating actors in:

- heightening freedom and spontaneity.

- basic to advanced script analysis (often the difference between good and great acting).

- removing fear and subconscious blocks or obstacles.

- establishing a dependable, personal and professional technique.

- audition-to-callback-to book essentials and expertise.

- listening skills and authencity as a performer.

- confidence and comfort.

- vocal technique and movement.

- emphasizing your unique and individual gift.

- image and marketing advice as requested.

I believe that one's talent and ability can only go as far as our ability to go within ouselves to seek our own truth. This ability is instantly recognizable in the artists that we admire, and creates compelling and memorable work. I am passionate about supporting actors as artists in life and work, and I will bring all my experience and skills to help you achieve your specific goals and dreams.

About the lesson

Discuss their objectives for training/coaching, specific issues they would like to address and overall goals as an actor. Assess their strengths, skill and comfort with a simple piece of script to work on together, and, on their own. Create a space in which they can relax and explore their gifts in a supportive, inspiring, and enjoyable experience.
