About Lori
This is a place of intimate and honest training for people who want to express themselves through the medium of acting.
I got started teaching by coaching my friends and then friends of friends through their audition processes.
I have extensive training as an actor, musician and dancer. (Calabasas High School, The American Conservatory Theater, Will Geer Theatricum Botanicum) I am also extensively trained in the visual arts of printmaking, photography and video editing (Academy of Art University). I truly have a lifetime of experience as a performer, from theater (Pacific Coast Rep Theater, Ross Valley Players), musicals (The Mountain Play), Shakespeare (Will Geer Theatricum, Marin Shakespeare Company), televsion (For All Man Kind, Extant) film (Gloria Bell, Being The Ricardos). I have been lucky enough to train in an secret underground method studio here in Los Angeles that compeltely changed and shaped me as an artist.

In getting to know a new student, I would really love to know what they are most interested in, what sparks their passion, and how they feel most authentically themselves. Working as an actor is really about who you are as a person.
Mostly actors who are currently auditioning and filming self tapes
Go with who you like, feel comfortable with and attracted to. It's not about status or prestige, it's about personal alignment, that's who you'll learn best from.
Recently I fell in love, and I'm very fond of it, although it's not easy.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Students should think through their level of commitment, and be honest with themselves about how much effor they're willing to put in.
