About Nathan
Acting:
- Actor friends of mine asked me to help them with audition and role preparation. I ended up helping them a lot and found I was good at it. I have a good critical eye and what started as being free for friends turned into a service people were happy to pay for.
Dancing:
- Dancing was just a hobby for me until I answered a job advertisement for the studio in Australia. I was hired and ended up teaching for 4 years - first full-time, then part-time
Acting:
- Advanced Diploma in Film, Theatre and TV Acting (The Actors Workshop - Brisbane, Australia)
- Various acting/director workshops
- On set short films/feature film experience
- Local theatre experience
Ballroom Dance:
- 4 years professionally teaching social American style ballroom, latin and swing dancing (River City Ballroom, Brisbane, Australia)

Acting:
- Trained and non trained actors, all adults
Dancing:
- All ages 18 and above, mostly beginners, taught to Silver level
Acting:
- Check someones credentials are real
- Try someone out, if they work for you great, if not find someone else. There are many different approaches to acting and you need to find the right one for you
Dancing:
- There is a big difference between social and competition dancing. So decide on what your goal is first, then choose a teacher that specialises in teaching a style that will achieve those goals.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
- What your goals are, what do you want to achieve? Then ask how your teacher thinks they can get you there
- How much time/effort are you willing to put in?
- Where do you want the lessons to take place?
- How long do you have for lessons and how long do you have to achieve your goal?
