About Sueanne

As an actor or a parent of a child actor, it's crucial to understand the business aspect of the acting industry. Unfortunately, there is a scarcity of available information that can assist new actors in achieving success. That's where I come in, ready to guide actors through the nitty-gritty details that can either make or break a career.

Let me share a bit about my background: My journey into the world of filmmaking and acting began at the age of 10 when I lived in New York. Armed with an 8 mm Camera, my brother and I explored the fundamentals of filmmaking, casting our friends in our projects. This experience fueled my passion for the arts.

Seeing my kids develop a love for performing, our family made the move to Los Angeles in 2010 to support their dreams of becoming actors. However, upon arriving in LA, I realized there was so much about the entertainment industry that I was unaware of. To bridge this gap, I conducted in-depth research and engaged in hands-on learning. I cast small projects, auditioned, acted, and even wrote articles for a self-produced acting magazine.

All of these experiences provided invaluable insights into the business side of acting.

Now, I am excited to share my knowledge with you and help navigate the complexities of the acting industry. Together, we can overcome any challenges and pave the way for a successful acting career.

I saw the need 8 years ago for actors that did not understand the many factors that went into becoming a successful actor.

I have a business degree and I have over 10 years of experience in the industry in the Los Angeles market of being trained by many industry insiders.

I also have hands-on practical experience which is the best experience to have and what I teach.

About the lesson

I work via face time or skype to save you time and money from traveling.

I have worked with kids as young as 5 and their parents up to retirees who wanted to start a new late in life career.

Ask questions to and make sure you feel comfortable with the professional you are working with because when you are not you will not absorb as much information.

I met a couple with a child that wanted to be an actor and they had no idea where to start.

Their child had always shown signs that she was meant for the entertainment industry but since neither parent knew which way to go they were confused about where to start.

I spent time teaching the parents and child and since then the child has excelled in the industry and the parents are able to make the right decisions to help their child with a career in the acting world.

I charge a base rate of $50 for 30-minute lessons, additional costs depend on what materials if any that you need me to supply such as a written synopsis. This price is set for 1 student at a time.
