About Rosemary
I have been a director, teacher, actor and acting coach. I started my career in professional theater with South Coast repertory. I spent three years in New York City studying under some of the greatest coaches. I worked at Palm Springs high school for 28 years and during that time won several directing awards. I am a founding member of the Desert Ensemble Theater Company. I have been a recipient of the Desert theater league awards for directing. I know how to teach in a way that allows the student to discover their talents. Many of my students have gone on to work in professional theater both on stage and backstage.
I love sharing the knowledge that I have acquired over my 55 years in this wonderful business. I enjoy watching a student discover their own ability to find the character within themselves. There is nothing more exciting than to watch a student create a character that is totally convincing to an audience.
