Being a movie buff, I always had this fantasy to learn how to act I finally made it happen and contacted Marianne Hettinger for an acting lesson. We met at Champions- Dance Studios, and had a chat first. Marianne made me feel so comfortable right off the bat. You can tell how much she loves teaching, Acting, as well as dancing. I was quite impressed by her credits as an award-winning filmmaker but my intimidation was gone very quickly because of her winning personality. It's amazing what I already learned in the first lesson. She gives you a physical and vocal warm up that gets you connected and some real cool acting exercises that you can use in real life to feel more confident. Great fun, great sense of play and I can't wait to come back for my next lesson! Who knows where this will lead to!!! Her being a ballroom dance champion as well, I might take a few ballroom lessons also!
