About Ben
Hello! I want to help you become a more truthful and honest actor. I believe that acting technique is very much about the individual and a series of trial and error. My method is a Stanislavski based approach with other methods and techniques that I have found along my career. I have been creating theatre for over 25 years and I received my formal training from The Conservatory of Theatre Arts at Webster University and I have appeared in Off-Off Broadway and profesional regional theatres across the country. I am also a United States Army veteran and run a theatre company that uses the tools of Shakespeare and storytelling to explore and highlight common veteran struggles.
It is my goal to prepare you to live truthfully onstage or screen. I hope to hear from you soon!
I love helping actors break through the mystery and hype of the acting busineess to find their own artistic voice.
I recieved a BFA in Acting from the Conservatory of Theatre Arts at Webster University. My training has focused on process oriented acting, stage movement and combat, Linklater, IPA, and dialect voice and speech, and musical theatre and Shakespearean performance.

First and foremost we as actors must know ourselves. I belive that the creation of a compelling and engaging character is the marraige of one's self with the the character in the script. So it is essentail that we, first, start with our self. Sense memory excercises and being aware of one's own given circumstances are the first building blocks where I like to start.
