About Larry
I have been working in the theater all of my life. Currently I work in the Chicago area as well as with the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC. I have worked with beginning actors as well as professional equity actors. I have directed hundreds of productions including musicals, Shakespeare, new plays, dramas and comedies. For two years I worked as assistant to Tennessee Williams and was inspired to begin writing scripts produced here in Chicago and around the U.S. I have directed community theater productions as well as equity. I am inspired and envigorated by actors who want to tell their story through performance. For 7 years I taught in the Masters in Interdisciplinary Arts program at Columbia College where I assisted artists of all disciplines in developing their own performance art productions.
