About Brook

Our services at Sterling Rose differ from the other schools and companies in that we focus on individual, theatrical instruction to enhance the theatre skills necessary to be successful during auditions and productions.

I love seeing the lightbulb go off in the heads of our students! It's amazing to see someone struggling, then suddenly discover what they were striving for.

I have been in out and of education since 2007. I've taught Theatre, dance, and business since graduating college.

About the lesson

When a new student comes to Sterling Rose, we take some time to get to know our students before jumping into instuction. Why? In order for us to do the proper character work, we need to know what makes the student tick. We need to understand what they live daily, and any struggles they have experienced to help us coach the student properly.

I normally work with students age 8-18 and adults, but I am open to working with all ages.

When looking for an Acting Coach, you need to look for a connection with the Coach. You also need to look into the skills and experience of the Coach. Does it fit into your goals? That's the most improtant this to look for.

This past year, my first year at McArthur High, I took three students to the State Thespian competition. Two of the three students qualified for the Natioanl Thespian competition for the first time in school history, with a near perfect score.
