About Mariah
I am a Technical Theatre Graduate and I love to spread the joy of theatre and connect with humanity through my art form.
I have a lot of background in Design for Theatre including Lighting Design, Architectural Set Design, Properties Design, but also Directing and Acting.
I graduated from Western Oregon University and have since been teaching summer programs and workshops along with maintaining my stature in the Design world by taking extra projects through the year.
Through my education I have a lot of experience within math and computer technology as well due to my field of learning being so broad. I also have a lot of knowledge on theatre history and architectural history.
I got hired during the summer to teach Technical Theatre and absolutely fell in love with teaching kidos about Theatre and how to be successful.

Let's start with expectations. What do you want to learn and what is the best way for you to learn? I don't only want to help you learn topics that you need to learn but also learn the skills that will better help you retain information.
Variety of children ranging from 8-17 from all different kinds of backgrounds.
Look for someone that actually wants you to succeed and won't just teach you about the suject matter but different ways to actually retain the information that you need to learn. this will help you in more than one area of study.
I recently light designed and prop designed the musical Annie. I love working and sharing my art with everyone.
