My educational background includes a B.S. with Honors in Chemistry with a minor in Mathematics from the University of Alabama. I subsequently earned my M.D. and Ph.D. (biochemistry) from UAB and joined the faculty in the UAB School of Medicine. I taught medical students every year during my time at UAB.My educational background includes a B.S. with Honors in Chemistry with a minor in Mathematics from the University of Alabama.
