About Robert
I am a certified teacher in Physics in Central Pennsylvania. I have degrees in Physics and Computer science. I have been teaching science, mathematics, engineering, and robotics for more than 5 years.
I have a large catalog of digital materials covering both Physics and Mathematics. I am also available for virtual tutoring using online collabaration tools.
I love science and mathematics and my passion has helped me deepen my understanding of the subjects beyond the cursory level required to instruct students. I help them connect to the content and bring out the wonder in the world around them.
I founded a non-profit organization whose purpose was to improve scientific literacy in people of all ages. I found that the teaching aspect of this job was my favorite and moved from there into teaching science and engineering in secondary education.
I have a an associates Degree in computer science and over 20 years of experience in Information Technology.
I have a Bachelor's Degree in Physics.
I have over 5 years of experience in teaching Physics, Engineering, Robotics, Programming, and Mathematics.
I am close to completing my Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction.

I have worked with students aged 12-50 across all aptitudes. In my teaching position I work mostly with 16-18 year olds. I cover Special Ed students all the way to AP.
These subjects may be more difficult than others but I believe the satisfaction of real understanding to be the most rewarding thing we can experience as learners.
One of my physics students has recently graduated with a Bachelor's degree in physics. I like to think that I helped inspire them to pursue science as a career.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Have I read the instructions?
Have I looked over the teacher's provided materials?
Have I looked through my own notes and materials?
What specific thing am I stuck on?

Perfect! Robert was able to help my child grasp a physics concept within 2 sessions. The quiz score jumped dramatically after their sessions.
He was also very flexible and professional.View more reviews

I highly recommend Robert.
My daughter went from being a C student and hating Physics to an A student after only a few sessions with Robert.
