About Michele

I have over 10 years of experience teaching math in both public and private institutions in grades 4 -12. My specialty is helping students who are struggling with math in middle school through Geometry.

I am certified and familiar with the Georgia standards and am very capable of helping students with increased understanding and self confidence relative to their math classes. I assist students with understanding current grade level content as well as identifying prerequisite weaknesses to work on as well.

I enjoy working with students at their own pace and watching them make progress and grow in confidence. I know what they need in order to succeed at the next level. Therefore, I focus on weaknesses as well as current challenges.

About the lesson

I take some time to get to know a new student and find out how they view their own skills and abilities as well as helping them to understand my ability to help them. Usually, I work with the student on mistakes from past tests, current school work, and practice identified deficiencies. I offer encouragement praise as I observe increased proficiency.
