About Shivani
I am a medicine student who thoroughly enjoys teaching through experience in various university societies. I am also an academic lead in charge of creating a novel health curriculum with a national charity, with lots of experience teaching school students! My main aim is to equip students with a strong foundation in subjects to allow them to explore further with their own reasoning.

I can adopt two major approaches for students- supporting them with homework, reviewing tests and explaining correct and incorrect answers, or teaching them difficult concepts parallel to those in school to keep them one step ahead. Depending on what the student responds to, I am happy to provide a mixture of both. I strongly believe in understanding the fundamentals of any subject and using a strong understanding to reason your way into answers over memorising facts. I love employing analogies and using a very interactive approach with fun questions to keep my students engaged and gauge their understanding throughout the lesson. I am extremely flexible, and will take every measure to ascertain the level of understanding of every student, and adjust the pace to ensure that they feel supported, before explaining any further concepts.
