About Travis
My mission is to provide exceptional service and convey information in a manner that ensures your understanding, and ultimately your success. There is no magical one-size-fits-all approach when it comes to teaching. I take the time to understand each student to deliver a tailored approach for enhanced learning. I have earned the following degrees and certificates: 1) Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice, 2) Master of Science in Operations Management, 3) Graduate Certificate in Project Management, and 4) Graduate Certificate in Lean Six Sigma. I have completed courses at the undergraduate and master’s level that cover a variety of topics such as leadership/management, lean six sigma, project management, strategic and supply chain management, quality management, managerial accounting, finance, statistics, criminology, psychology, and many more! I served 9+ years in the Army National Guard and gained valuable experience leading others as a commissioned officer in a logistics company, serving as a maintenance and logistics manager. I am currently employed as a project manager for a software company.
Yearn to Learn emphasizes connection and personalization. There is nothing more satisfying than observing someone fully grasp a new concept that seemed impossible to learn before. Learning is reciprocated because I enjoy learning as much from the student as they do from me.
