About David
I have loved archery ever since I was 12 years old and have continued to practice and study it. I began my training in compound bow hunting and participated in a college team for 3D and target compound shooting. However, my perfered form of archery is traditinal archery. I have trained and taught traditional archery over the years and am profecient with various types of shooting techniques. I would love to spead the disipline of archery, and all it has taught me. Thank you for considering me as an instructor!
I love being able to teach people learn about the amazing practice of archery, and to see the people that I teach become archers who fall in love with this age long practive.

The first step is to learn their reason for wanting to begin/improve their archery, and the style/type of archery they are wanting to train in. The next step is learning what they do know and viewing their technique, in order to asertain where improvements can be made and guide future lesson. following that it would be a matter of practice, education (anotomical function of archery, theories of archery, and the fundimentals of equipment care), and feedback.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
For what reason they are looking to get into the disipline of archery. Archery is full of various styles and practices that can differ widly in what type of experience they are for the archer. It can be anything from olympic target shooting where persicion is emphasised, to a more speed shooting focused study of archery where speed and varibility are emphasised. even different types of bows and release styles can impact your enjoyment of the disipline, and for this reason I feel that it is an important question to ponder. Though I would be more than glad to help a student learn about the differences and their lean toward any one in particular. in the end archery is a wonderful disipline that lead to great enjoyment no matter the style or desire for shooting.
