About Sarah
My passion for teaching art started over 20 years ago, as a mother of 3. Having opportunities to tutor, teach at a School of Arts in North Carolina, at various Co-ops in class settings has been one of my greatest joys in life. I specialize in the areas of teaching the skills and the thrills of Art. I love to inspire, explore, and build confidence in children of all ages.

I enjoy the benefits of teaching art by inspiring and encouraging students. Bringing inspiration and motivation to students is one of my favorite aspects of teaching not only some skills, but the thrills of creativity.
Education and training has come from personal studies and course preparation for groups and individual tutoring.

Typically when starting instruction with a new student, I ask questions of their experience with art and preferences. Also, giving them a short exercise to see their skill level helps me to assess where I can meet them and what I can expect.
