About Kent

Baseball teaches kids the fundamental skills to become a successful adult.

To be a good baseball player it all starts with form. Once they have good form whether it be infield, outfield, catching, pitching or hitting they can move to their full potential.

I've coached recreational bbaseball off and on since 1987 and I've also coached travel ball. I do not have a child that plays the game.

The reason I coach is to give back to a game that's given so much to me. I have Knowledge and Skills that I want to pass down to younger generations.

I coach because I want the players that are not already in the coaches lineup to excel

(concealed information)

I enjoy watching a player progress from someone the coach really doesn't look at to someone that the coach relies on.

Ripken / Babe Ruth League Certified Coach.

I played at Age 5 until age 18. Due to injury my baseball career ended and I started coaching in 1987.

Since then I've had many players that have grown outside of the game of baseball and used some of these methodologies to become a successful adult.

About the lesson

We meet to assess their skill level and discuss goals.

I've seen many players move to a new league and not have a chance because they didn't come up through the league with the rest of the boys on the team.

Most managers and coaches have a kid on the team and don't know how to coach someone that needs a little extra attention. They don't want to spend time with these kids because they're too busy setting their lineup around kids that already have skill.

I'm here for those kids that really want the chance to show Improvement.
