About Vincent

Practical Experience and success on the field. I have won 253 games as a high school varsity head coach and CIF Championship. Added to this is over 200 wins at the JV level HC and a CIF Championship and State Championship as a varsity assistant. I work well with young people. I am a HS teacher and currently volunteer with a local varsity softball team. I love this game and my goal is to help you find your passion an develop your skills.

I enjoy working with passionate ball players dedicated to being the bast they can be. Watching that learning curve blossom and excel is priceless.

My high school coach identified my skill as a teacher and brought me into his program a year after my high school graduation. Whittier High School— 1984.

I have been coaching this sport since I was 20 years old. I have 35 years experience from 12u to high school level. I played football in junior college and coached my first JV baseball team at the same time. I always believed that Baseball/Softball teaches life skills that last far beyond the playing days.

About the lesson

Questions. I ask a lot of questions to discover where their passion lies. I also use their strengths to enhance their natural abilities. I do not coach cookie cutter technique. There are a few Musts but every player has their own flavor.
