About Taffy
I am brutally honest. If you are not having fun playing baseball don't play. It's a game and it's the greatest game to play. Have Fun!!! Also I am honest and if I feel like I can't get you to the next level I will recommend other coaches and trainers.
Love helping players love the game of baseball. Love helping players take their game to the next level. Love helping players remind its baseball, have fun.
I am new to personal training for baseball, but feel I have a lot to offer for infielders, catchers, and batting from ages 8-13. I coached my son and his little league teams for the past 6 years.
I have known baseball and studied baseball for many years. I played a ton as a kid, high school, and a little in college. I stopped after college because I was called to ministry. I am still doing ministry and I still love baseball. I have helped my son, who is now 12, with good baseball techniques as a batter, infielder, and especially as a catcher. I want to help train your son without having to charge outrageous prices.

1/2 hour of Defense: Catching or any infield postion. I don't do pitching or outfield.
1/2 hour of Batting
I have 4 students right now who I am helping train. We had one student in one week bat 9th to 1st on his baseball team.
Try any baseball trainer/coach out. If they are a fit stay with them for a season or 2. If not don't feel bad to leave. Also you can learn many different techniques from many different coaches, but be coachable throughout your baseball career. Even the pros are constantly making tweaks to their game. Adapt what works best for you in a game, situation, or as a catcher the umpire.
When a player sees the game as a game and knows it's to be FUN!!!
Everytime my son hits well in a game or as a catcher, frames well, blocks well, or throws someone out.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Do I really want to spend my parents money on baseball lessons?

Perfect! Coach Taffy is great to work with...he is very knowledgeable, patient and kind. My son really likes him, and we're so happy we found him to teach our son...he's an awesome coach!
Perfect! Coach Taffy worked with my 7 year old son for few times and everyone in my team immediately noticed how much my son has improved. So easy to work with, and he is super flexible with our schedule. Highly recommended.

Taffy is great! He’s very knowledgeable and works well with kids. I’ve seen an improvement in my sons hitting and catching abilities after just a few lessons.
