About Michael

They say you teach like you were taught, that's what we strive for taking young men/woman and teach them the proper way to play the game that we love. In a game that is always changing the "old" ways are often overlooked. Fundamentals in hitting as well as fielding and throwing, hustle, drive, passion, dedication, willingness to adapt and grow not only into stellar athletes but exceptional human beings. We mix a little bit of old with alot of new to bring out the best in our athletes. I've played growing up in NYC then moved to Florida for school, that is where i learned so much about this game. I look forward to passing on my knowledge and passion to future generations

What i enjoy most about training is when our young athletes, either just starting or have been playing for a while, see the progress they themselves have achieved. To see that the next generation of ballplayers know with hard work, dedication and a great work ethic many doors will open for them.

I've played baseball since i could hold a ball. Playing baseball in NYC on the Lower East Side of Manhattan, i made a name for myself. Once my high school career started I was a pitcher/outfielder. I pitched for La Salle Academy where i was ranked 4th in the city for Archdiocese Catholic High Schools. After graduating, i decided i wanted to leave and not be in NY any longer. So i moved to Florida, where I got my baseball education, I played in an amateur league to sharpen my skills before college and some tryouts. I realized I wasn't cut out for pitching, so i honed my hitting skills and transitioned to first base which i currently play now. As a first baseman that allowed me to really be noticed and travel with independent teams, various tournaments and tryouts. I ultimately had to give up that pursuit to provide for my family. So now i have moved back to NY and coach my own son in his high school career and continue to play on my own time. I love baseball and passing my knowledge and experiences to young future baseball players.

About the lesson

First step is evaluation, accessing and skill level and mechanics they possess already. Second is a personal game plan to ensure peak performance and output that will help the athletes reach the goals that they set for themselves.
