About Alana
I've always been told that I had a brilliant mind and that I was incredibly responsible for my age. I didn't understand why people would tell me I'm smart since I never tried and still received amazing grades. I had learned what my family like to call internal clock, mainly for my great sense of time and because when an analog clock ticks right on time it never misses a beat.
I'm a student myself in high school so even though I have no training pertaining to this type of work I'm mostly likely in your child's age group or they are younger than me but friends can be very influential on each other by setting a good example for your child they are learning.

I like to get to know the student and work with them based on their personality. I believe we learn more when we like the way we learn and so I make learning enjoyable by incorporating thenn by lesson into games, or whatever the student is in to.
I have worked with elementary students and people who needs help to learn skills that i happen to have. My knowledge is extremely extensive over a variety of topics.
I would say look for someone you can connect with because they will be the best teacher for you, mostly because friends and people we trust or can connect with will be very influential in your life.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Kids tend to get threatened and raise gaurds around strangers especially around adults so I would say to them so that they don't have to feel that way is for them to know what they want why they are in their position why they need help and what they need help with.

I don't charge much for lessons because I'm young and don't necessarily need the money, I just would like to start saving my money and to have a job for the experience. I have a minimum charge of $15/hr.
