About James

I am a Philadelphia area native, and I have over 8 years of experience coaching men's and women's basketball at the NCAA Division II & III Levels. I have spent the last four years as the Head Women's Basketball Coach at Chestnut Hill College in Philadelphia, PA.

I am also a former NCAA collegiate basketball player. I played for four years at Philadelphia University, currently known as Thomas Jefferson University. I was coached by 2011 Naismith Hall of Fame inductee, Herb Magee, who finished his coaching career with over 1,100 wins.

I am now located in Alexandria, VA. I focus on individual player development and skill management for basketball athletes that are serious about improving their game. I offer private training sessions, along with small group training sessions. For more information, you can check out my website at (concealed information)

Coach Jim vastly improved my high school daughters game, especially with her footwork and her shot. We were very pleased with his training workouts and would not hesitate to book again!
