About Jonathan

Hello! I’m Jonathan Merritt, a professional basketball coach, trainer, and educator with years of experience helping athletes maximize their potential both on and off the court. Throughout my coaching career, I’ve developed players who have gone on to compete at the NCAA Division I, Division II, NAIA, and professional levels while emphasizing discipline, confidence, leadership, and character.

When you work with me, you can expect high-energy, organized, and personalized instruction. Every session is designed to meet the athlete where they are, build on their strengths, and challenge them to improve through detailed skill development, basketball IQ, and game-like training. I believe in creating a positive environment where athletes are encouraged, held accountable, and motivated to reach their goals.

What sets me apart is my combination of coaching experience, player development expertise, and genuine passion for helping athletes succeed. Whether your goal is making the team, earning a college scholarship, or taking your game to the next level, I’m committed to providing the knowledge, support, and mentorship needed to help you get there. I look forward to working with you and being part of your basketball journey.
