About Devell

Grooming Champions separates itself by teaching and mentoring hands on the game inside the game. We're strategic when it comes to identifying a student/athletes strengths and challenges through dialogue and not simply the physical aspect of our sport. We teach more for the mentality and character of a player.

I have been a mentor, youth and adult coach specializing in player development for 17 years working alongside high schools all over Cook and Lake county. In addition, I’ve done multiple camps with Jr. NBA and NBA players such as Shawn Marion and Evan Turner to name a few. I also have a youth organization that work with student athletes that I help make their basketball teams, develop more skills and confidence, enter colleges and also professional basketball organizations outside of the NBA that allow them to even get scouted overseas.
