About Joshua

Are you looking for somebody that can take your future ball player or superstar to the next level? I’m your guy!!! Not only will my students receive hands on training from an experienced “hooper” , but they also will be getting equipped with leadership tendencies, learn how to become the perfect teammate, become a defensive guru, and much more! The skills I teach in basketball also translate into every day life, ie: teamwork, confidence, awareness, leadership, discipline and much more! I encourage and motivate my students that he/she can do ALL THINGS no matter how difficult the task may be. To sum it all up my calling is to get the GREATNESS out of my students! THAT is my mission!

I absolutely love what I do!! I can do this every day for the rest of my life and die a happy man. I love seeing the development of my players and the excitement on their face when they see the results of their hard work. I live for this. Ball is life!

Basketball not your thing but you want to get in shape, get shredded, lose that stubborn belly fat. Let’s work together and make it happen. Visit my website for more details about me and my training sessions at

Perfect! Coach has helped me with my game tremendously, in 7,8, and 9th grade I did not make my school team. Went here and for my 10th grade year I made the basketball team. All his drills are practical and work and aren’t just random ball handling drills you won’t use. I am so greatful to have had him as a coach and I highly recommend!

Perfect! Coach Josh has been working with my son for about 2 months now and I've seen significant progress in this short time. Certainly his game has improved but also his confidence level and desire to work harder has increased. I appreciate Coach Josh's approach to coaching and his knowledge of the game of basketball. We hope to continue with him long-term.

I learned a lot with Coach Neville during weekly trainings. My handling and shooting skills got improved and I gained more confidence driving to the hoop. He always pushes me to be a better basketball player and I’m totally ready for the next season!

My son’s experience has been the Greatest with Hoop Doc. Hoop Doc created an environment to build on his strengths and weaknesses. He pushes limits, evaluate, and build in all areas. We feel fortunate to have him as our trainer.

My son is 12. He has been working with Josh, aka Hoop Doc, for about a year. I have been very pleased his progress. There were drills that helped with his foot work and shooting mechanic. They played one on one to improve his isolation play. As a teacher, Josh is knowledgeable and easy going but also demand good effort. We highly recommend him.

Chris

Josh is an excellent trainer. He is an encouraging motivator and someone who can help you find potential you didn't even know you had. His attention to detail is excellent. I went from never scoring to recently scoring 30+ points in a game thanks to his training. He turned my game around! I am now much more confident.

He’s a winner and throughout his sessions he teaches that mindset. He understands that you can be as good as you want to be as long as you put the work in. He also teaches from experience which is always helpful.

My son really enjoyed working out with Hoop Doc. Each training session was tailored to push him out of his comfort zone, help him with his confidence on and off the basketball court. Hoop Doc attended several of my sons basketball game, to help him see the ares he needed to work on with my son. We definitely saw a huge improvement!!
