About Allan

Detail oriented basketball training that focuses on the fundamentals of ball handling, shooting technique, footwork, speed and agility. Training sessions are tailored to help the athlete achieve their goals.

I enjoy inspiring kids to not settle for anything less than excellence while having fun. Teaching kids to love the process instead of the end result. The goal is to teach kids how to use sports as a toold for success in the real world.

I've played basketball in high school, college (University of the Pacific - D1), and semi problem for 8 yrs. At UOP we won the Big West twice ('04 & '05) and made 2 NCAA Tournament appearances. As a pro I played on back to back championship teams with the Sants Barbara Breakers (WCBL). I was as an All Star in the IBL, and was selected for the semi pro all star tour team.

About the lesson

First session is more of an evaluation to see what areas need improvement. This can be bypassed if the player knows exactly what skills they want to improve. Then i develop drills based on the weaknesses and give the player "homework" to do before each session.

All types of students from beginners to pros.

Make sure the coach understands basketball is a tool to help you succeed in life, basketball is NOT life.

Details

I charge $35/session if the players comes to train by me, $45/session if I have to drive. If the player would like to take more sessions throughout the week, the per session rate will drop
