About Matt
I was cut from my high school basketball team in ninth grade, it was devastating to me. The next year came around and I didn't try out again because I did not have the confidence in my skill level. Looking back I wish I would have trained hard and tried out the next year but I settled for playing intramural basketball instead. I have learned from that experience if you think you have lost you already have. I am very passionate about teaching people how to play the game of basketball that I love. Whether your a beginner or advanced I attended Penn State basketball camps as well as Charlie Wards basketball camp when I was younger where I learned the basics. I then played on my middle school team where I learned to be patient as my coach didn't play me as often as I would have liked. I have coached YMCA boys basketball for one year and have coached at my churches sports camp for three years. I will be dedicated to your sucess as a basketball player, with my experience I will use the most effective drills and techniques to help you become the best basketball player you can be!
