About Anthony

Hi, my name is Anthony Pena. I'm primarily a private math tutor. However, I recently came across this opportunity on this website to offer basketball training. I've been playing basketball since I was 5 years old. I played in middle school, high school, and Men's intramurals in college. Basketball has always been my favorite sport, because it can be practiced individually or in a team setting. I played point guard for most of my playing days, which forced me to learn each position on the court. I've developed skills that apply to positions 1-5 on the court, so I'm confident that I can help you develop and strengthen your skills no matter your size or experience level. I'm a believer in sticking to the basics, consistently, and letting your repetitions and desire to be great catapult your skills to a higher level.

As a tutor, I interact with middle and high school students on a regular basis. With more than 5 years of experience working with elementary, middle school, and high school students, I've developed a passion for helping young students improve their skills and gain self-confidence. To me, basketball is no different. If you can commit to developing a strong work ethic, invest your time consistently, and do so in a positive environment, you will gain knowledge and confidence. Like many things in life, as you develop confidence, your performance increases. Combine this with your growth in knowledge and a positive support system, and the sky is the limit for you.

So, if you're looking for a simple training program that helps you develop your basketball skills within a positive environment, then I believe that I can be a great asset to you. I conduct 75-minute training sessions and charge $35 for each session, which equals a rate of $28 per hour. I have my own basketball, but encourage you to bring your own along with some water/juice to hydrate.

Whether you select me as your training partner or not, I wish you the best and pray that God's grace and peace fill your heart and mind today.
