About Michael

I am a US Marine Corps veteran with a passion for the game of basketball that has developed since I was 6 years old. I am a coach basketball coach at North Henry Academy in Stockbridge. I specialize in developing a consistent and accurate jump shot to include body positioning, proper footing, proper form with arms, and strategies. I also specialize in conditioning in order to maintain stamina and muscle endurance.

At the end of the lessons I teach, the student will be more confident in their abilities to shoot the ball as well as be more consistent and accurate. The conditioning the student will endure he or she will be able to play longer and stronger in game settings.

I love watching players develop not only into good basketball players but leaders and good people as well. I look forward to adding tools to the payers toolbox that he/she can take with them throughout their basketball journey and life that took me a long time to learn.

About the lesson

When working with a new student I try to gauge what skill level they are. If the student has worked with previous trainers and coaches and has developed good technique, I will add to that.

I will start by focusing on the student's weak areas and work on those week areas until the student is confident, accurate, and consistent.
