Drew provided music lessons for my 3 year old son, who is a shy little boy. Within the first few lessons with Drew, my son started coming out of his shell, and integrating some of the things he learned with Drew into his play with his instruments. Drew was confident even a kid as young as our son could learn music fundamentals like rhythm, strumming, notes, and he was correct! I would not hesitate to recommend Drew as a music teacher. His skill and creativity are immediately apparent, and most of all, he is able to connect with his students, and make them comfortable and therefore receptive to learning/developing skill. I just recently started taking lessons with Drew after being referred to him by another highly regarded musician. I hadn’t taken lessons before, so I was quite nervous as a person who struggles with accepting constructive criticism. Leading up to my first lesson, Drew maintained ongoing communication about what I was hoping to learn, where I was currently at in my musical journey, and my overall interests in music. This carried on through our one-on-one lessons and I was immediately calmed by his care and sincere desire to learn my skills and teach me new techniques and knowledge that applied directly to my personal musical interests. He is extremely adaptable and has a keen ability to help me articulate my thoughts as an amateur. I highly recommend Drew for any teaching position for all ages.
