About Dominic
I graduated as a Dean's Scholar and Dean's Honored Graduate with a B.S. in Biology from the University of Texas in the Spring of 2021. There, I spent three years as a Teaching Assistant for a research methods course and one year as a tutor at the university's Sanger Learng Center. In my spare time I tutored at Gonzalo Garza High School, a non-traditional high school aimed at helping student obtain their GED. I am currently working as a biology teacher in the Philippines.
I am passionate about education and ensuring that my students have a firm understanding of their learning material. I take a student-oriented approach to my teaching, utilizing a diverse array of tools and resources to guarantee my students are truly learning.
The most satisfying part about teaching is seeing the "light-bulb" moment your students' eyes - a moment of "eureka" that makes teaching so rewarding for me. Apart from that, I love to hear my students come back to me and tell me how they're acing their exams!
