About Tamara

I am a Public Health Graduate at the University of Texas at Arlington. I have previously worked for the Biology department as an Anatomy and Physiology 1 lab at Sam Houston State. I also work as a lab technician for Baylor Scott and White. I enjoy teaching and helping others understand the material of the human body as this subject is very difficult to learn.

I love science and biology to be specific! I enjoy teaching and helping others with this subject. The Human body and it's functions are very vague and there is so much to learn and being able to help others understand the material in a fun way is something I enjoy!

I began taking both courses of Anatomy and Physiology 1&2 and passed both classes. The professor for the biology department was recruiting students with a grade B or higher in the subject to be able to teach the Lab course. From that point forward I began teaching.

I am a current Nursing Major at SHSU. I Have take these course along with plenty other Biology and Health courses. Being able to teach this subject requires your grades to be exceptional.

About the lesson

I like to begin with learning what does and does not work with my students. It is easy to lose a student in the classroom if they are not engaged in your teaching. I find ways that are fun for my students but will also help them remember and understand the material as well.

I have worked with Freshman and sophomore colleges students within the subjects of anatomy. For basic educations and gross development my teaching experience is within the 6 month to 4 year old range.

Look for someone who follows the guidelines you are looking for. The subject and how one teaches is very important ! Ask plenty of questions and gather as much information as you can.
