About Asha

I always thought I would like teaching, since both my parents were educators. After I earned my Ph.D., I became a researcher for 4 years. During those 5 years, I tutored middle and high school students online, assisting them with their science projects.

I started teaching part-time just for the experience, but fell in love, and became a full-time professor.

I've been teaching for 8 years now, for the last 5 years I've also been teaching online.

I have a B.S. in Agronomy, an M.S. in Molecular and Cellular Biology, and a Ph.D. in Plant Pathology. I currently teach Microbiology at the local college.

I see myself more as a guide to help you along the way.

Middle school, high school, and college students of varying backgrounds.

You need to look for a teacher who is reliable. To some extent, it almost doesn't matter who your instructor is, as long as they meet the basic qualifications. *You* will have to do the hard work, putting in the time and the effort. What you need, is an instructor who is there to help you with that. Staying on track, teaching you the skills to teach yourself.
