About Jayme
I love to take principles in science, especially biology, and help students get a real world understanding of how different scientific principles and ideas affect them every day. I use a variety of hands on tutoring techniques to ensure that students get a practical and thorough understanding of the subjects I'm working with them on and that they have fun doing it.
My passion is making those little bridges between education and my student's interests. Everything in our world can be tied back to science, and putting a real world perspective on things can make a huge difference in learning key concepts. Helping students learn and draw those connections is what keeps me going.
I have a bachelor's degree in microbiology and am working towards attaining my master's in pharmacology.

I like to talk to the student first to get an understanding of what their goals are, but also to understand a little more about them and what they are interested in. Once we are squared away there, I think it's important to understand what kind experiences have helped them learn the best in the past so I can build sessions around utilizing some of those same methods.
