Earned an AA in Psychology with a 4.0 in all coursework

Featured on El Camino College's student spotlight for academic achievement

Acceptance into the University of Irvine’s Community College Honors Conference to present my abstract on the power of music in cognitive development in the field of Biology, Psychology, and Music (April of 2020)

Completed the first Semester at El Camino College with a 4.0 average. Accepted into the Honors Transfer Program.

Passed all sections of the California High School Proficiency Exam (CSHPE) on my first sitting(March 2019) , scoring over 400 on each section. This allowed me to complete High School following my sophomore year and begin college courses at El Camino College. (March 2019)

Achieved a 4.5 GPA upon completing my Freshman year of high school including three honors courses (Honors Geometry, Honors English and Honors Biology)

Was awarded both the Biology and Religion awards for the High School Freshman Class at Mary Star of the Sea Catholic High School. Accepted into the National Beta Club. (2017)

Won second place ($750) out of 150 applicants in the annual Cabrini Literary Guild Creative Writing Contest. (2017)

Accepted with Honors to Mary Star of the Sea Catholic High School in San Pedro, Ca., with a $2,000 scholarship applied towards each years’ tuition. Highest scoring on placement exam of all applicants. (March 2017)

Scored Advanced on all subjects tested on the High School Proficiency Test (HSPT), with an overall average in the top 7% in the nation and in the top 2% in the nation in Mathematics. Highest score of all entering freshman.

Has received Straight A’s each year by Gorman Learning Center (Charter) (Transcripts available upon request)

Music Achievements and Experience

I have had over 13 years of training in classical piano, guitar, songwriting, and composition. I also have over 8 years of experince with the audio engineering software Logic Pro X which I use to produce my own compositions, and compositions for other artists.

Royal Conservatory Music Development Program:

Successfully completed all written and performance levels in Piano at the age of 16 (to level 10), achieving the Gold Medal for best in the Nation for my level 7 performance and best in the State of California .along with multiple regional first place finishes.

Yearly Southwest Youth Music Festival at CSULB:

Achieved the first place trophy in piano in 2015, 2017 and 2018 including first place in the 19 and under division in 2018.

• American String Teachers Association (ASTA) – Classical Guitar competition 2013 – (at University of Southern California 4/6/2013)-First Place in 11 and under division.

I have been studying music for 13 years, and also have expereince in the fields of biology and psychology. I really enjoy helping students learn concepts in these areas of study!

About the lesson

I first like to review what they are working on at the moment. Then I like to assess their knowledge in the subject which they are learning. This helps me gain a better understanding of the student's strenghts and weaknesses, so I can help them in areas where they are struggling.

I enjoy working with all different types of students. From college students, to middle school/high school students.

Make sure you find a tutor who has lots of experience and can help make difficult concepts seem easy and understandable!
