About Haley
My name is Haley and I have been been tutoring a variety of subjects for over 8 years. I am passionate about English and Science, as well as music and swim. In high school, the subjects I tutored included English, AP Language, AP Literature, biology, and AP biology. I scored a 5 on all of the APs I tutor. In undergrad, I worked as a peer tutor in environmental microbiology, microbiology, genetics and evolution, ecology and evolution, and metagenomics. I worked at Barrie Prep School teaching middle and high school science, including earth science, life science, health, and honors biology the last year.

When working with a student, I belive it is first important to establish trust and understand the student's individual learning process, whether that is visual, audio, kinetic etc. From there, we go through what has been covered previously and work to find areas of confusion. Once we are caught up with past materials, we will work on current assigned coursework.
